Tanory"s Clients Say:

"Beautiful space! Loved Tanory's Wednesday night class - I was visiting from out of town and instantly felt welcomed and comfortable❤️ Scarlett N., 9/2016

"The Yoga II class taught by Tanory Ateek on Wednesdays at 7 PM is phenomenal. Her yoga teaching skills are impressive. She plans vigorous yet meditative sequences of asanas which deepen the yoga student's practice. I strongly recommend the yoga classes taught by her to intermediate to advanced yoga practitioners." Nandi L., 10/15

Lauren Richardson

Lauren Richardson, ERYT 200, Lauren discovered yoga over twenty years ago as a way to balance her athletic pursuits, passionate heart and overall curiosity of being. After practicing a variety of styles, she trained with Jonny Kest in the Ashtanga tradition. She teaches a dynamic series of sequenced postures that flow together to promote mobility and healing in the body, focus and ease in the mind and awareness and connection with the breath. She enjoys working with all ages and abilities and believes that yoga meets you where you are, as it is both therapeutic and invigorating. In addition to working in studios, Lauren has had the opportunity to share the benefits of yoga with children in camps, schools and as a training element of many athletic teams. She has directed yoga teacher training programs for the past 5 years at multiple centers and continues to learn and grow from her inspiring student trainees.

Sara Crosby

Trained as a dancer her whole life, Sara first saw Vinyasa yoga as a natural supplement to her dancing. Though after discovering Prana Flow in 2006, her commitment to yoga jumped to a whole new level. The guided free form movement and creative, flowing sequencing really resonated; it was like dancing on her mat.
Sara is currently studying to complete her 500 hour RYT in Prana Flow. Yoga has also ignited a deep passion for service work, with a focus on sustainable community development, taking Sara both across continents and into her own backyard. Currently she lending her efforts to help develop The Growing Hope Initiative, a new non-profit dedicated to using organic agriculture, yoga and the arts to transform communities in Southern Florida and the Keys.
She also recently completed the Off the Mat and Into the World Leadership Training Program and hopes to continue to use yoga as a means to unite, heal and empower.
When not on the mat, Sara works as a documentary film producer and new mom to a beautiful baby girl.

Sierra Carlson

Sierra took her first yoga class during college and vowed that she would never try it again. Luckily, she ended up taking a college course that incorporated yoga and acting, thus beginning her life-long love affair with yoga. Sierra lived in India and studied yoga in 2014, where she decided to become a yoga instructor. She completed her training at Blue Heron Wellness. Her mission is to provide yoga to populations that may never step foot in a yoga studio. Sierra is a mental health therapist and uses yoga in her work with underprivileged high school students and trauma survivors. Self-love can be very difficult to develop, but Sierra tries to help her students find appreciation for the divinity within. Her classes provide a safe and fun environment to explore and make accessible each of the eight limbs of yoga.

Stephanie Hurter

Stephanie loves how yoga connects people with their bodies and from their bodies to their community around them. Her yoga and mindfulness practice has dramatically changed her life and she loves to share this powerful practice with any who are willing to try it out. Stephanie completed her RYT-200 training at Blue Heron this past year and is also ChildLight Certified. She likes to think of her teaching as falling into three categories—vinyasa to move the muscles and energetic flows in the body, yin to tend to the joints and fascia, and meditation to care for the soul. She teaches all three styles to adults and youth, with a special passion for working with at-risk youth and their caregivers.
Build strength and flexibility and encourage cardiovascular health with this fun and quick-paced Vinyasa Flow class.
