Critical Alignment Yoga Prop Series Week 3: Lower Back & Back Bends
These props help us reach our blind spots to build new somatic awareness. That stiff upper back and neck or your sensitive lower back. You will release tension, restore your range of motion and work on strength and stability. Each class concludes with an inversion on the headstander which allows us to go upside down without putting pressure on the neck.
This yoga style has been developed over the past 35 years in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Marietta Vis brings CAY to the US.
We offer a series of 4 workshops to give the opportunity to dive deeper into this practice. It is also possible to just take one workshop. Each workshop has it’s own focus in a particular part of the body and we’ll highlight and a group of asanas we will bring into practice. You do not need to have experience with this. It will come along the way!
The workshops are also interesting for experienced yogis.
