Mindful Eating for the Seasons

This class is taught by:
Eating with the seasons connects the cycles of nature to those of our own bodies. By eating mindfully – we are able to nourish both our bodies and minds. We can truly experience the crisp flavor of greens or the sweetness of fruit that might otherwise be hidden in a salad or eaten on the run. Our workshop will use mindful eating exercises from the Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training Program (MB-EAT) to learn hunger cues and taste awareness. We will also discuss which foods are in season and the best ways to buy or grow them.
