Baby and Me Post-Natal Yoga with Amber Khan
Mondays, 11:30-12:15 PM; Starts June 17
A class designed for mothers and babies six weeks to 12 months post-partum. You will learn poses you can do with baby, strengthen your core, relieve aching neck and shoulders, and develop new vitality and balance in your transitioning body. Pre-walking babies welcome. Please consult your health care provider before starting a postpartum exercise program.
Yoga Fundamentals with Lorie Fung
Mondays, 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM; Saffron Studio
An interactive class designed for those new to yoga or who would like to revisit the fundamentals. This workshop is designed as a series of 5, one hour sessions, that provide a foundation of basic yoga principles, poses, and alignment. Personal attention is given to each student to increase body awareness and to provide proper alignment tools to empower the new student. Provides a foundation of basic yoga principles, poses and alignment, including breath work and meditation. Blocks of five sessions can be purchased and are recommended before advancing to other classes. Cost: $75
Yoga Fundamentals II with Lorie Fung

This series is for those who wish to deepen their understanding of yogic breathing and how to link yoga postures. In this series, you will review the foundations covered in Yoga Fundamentals I, and expand upon these core concepts. Continue to refine alignment and safety in each pose, using props to assist your body in and out of the yoga poses. Through focusing on the breath you will learn how to link yoga poses into a fluid and flowing sequence called a “”sun salutation”" and practice different breathing exercises to achieve a state of internal harmony. Open to those who have completed Yoga Fundamentals, or those who have had prior yoga experience.
Therapeutic Yoga with Nancy Tyson
Mondays, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM; Saffron Studio
This series is designed for those wanting to strengthen their body and those with limited range of motion, pain, or dysfunction. This practice will work at an appropriate level and pace as students explore movements and breath that bring strength, integrity, and freedom to the neck, shoulders, upper back, and low back. Regardless of body size, shape, or current level of fitness, Therapeutic Yoga is yoga anyone can safely participate in and benefit from.
Yoga Over 50 with Sherry Weber
Tuesdays (and Thursdays) 10:00 – 11:15 AM; Tulsi Studio
A slower-paced class which takes into consideration the individual needing a little longer to find comfort within a pose. The use of props and/or modifications to assist in a variety of basic poses will be utilized when necessary. Students will work towards building and maintaining flexibility, strength, balance and good alignment. Classes will begin with a few moments of centering and simple breathing exercises and conclude with a 5-10 min. final relaxation. Drop-ins welcome.
Tai Chi with Peter Mosher

T’ai Chi exercises are choreographed into a routine that helps not only improvement and maintenance of physical health but also helps to improve memory and mental acuity. Chi-gong is exercises that focus on the movement of life force, or qi (chi) through pathways in the body to improve the health of all the organ systems. Qigong is an integral part of T’ai Chi. T’ai Chi/Chi-gong well known for helping with arthritis, balance, breathing, immunity, stress reduction, and much more. Each class will teach you exercises that you can do on your own. Meditation: Methods of Mindfulness with Peter Mosher

Drawing from the Buddhist and Taoist traditions we will explore and practice ways of meditation to still our bodies, quiet our minds, tame our emotions, and nurture our spirits. Each class will begin with breathing practice combined with gentle movement to become centered and relaxed. There will then be instruction and guided sitting meditation practice. We will close with a healing meditation. If you have avoided meditation because you think you can’t sit still, come try this class. You might be surprised. Total Body Conditioning: H.I.I.T.
Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM; Saffron Studio
This High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.) class is a fusion of strength training with cardio conditioning that will have you burning calories and getting lean for up to 24 hours post-workout. Tap in to your inner strength and challenge yourself through a series of plyometric, bodyweight, core and resistance training movements that will improve your agility, flexibility, endurance and strength. Students will be shown variations of each movement to maximize the benefit of the workout while allowing everyone to work within their individual limits. This class will keep your mind engaged and your body rewarded during the short bursts of high intensity exercises followed by periods of rest. $150/10 weeks. Drop-ins welcome.
Pilates Core Challenge with Janet Richards

Transform familiar mat exercises into something new by adding simple props for added resistance–enhancing the strengthening and toning benefits of your matwork routine. Every move is a delicate mix of balance, control, flexibility and strength. A total body workout from head to toe. Catey Miller will introduce students to a training class that explores all styles of movement to unleash their inner strength and see physical results. Kettlebells with Marvin King
Saturdays, 8:15 AM – 9:15 AM and Mondays, 8:00-9:00 PM; Saffron Studio
Build on flexibility gained in your yoga practice and stabilize your joints with “Kettlebells.” This 10-week class will provide the foundation for a safe and productive kettlebell workout. A ‘kettlebell’ or girya is a traditional Russian cast iron weight that looks like a cannonball with a handle. Get a full-body strength and cardio workout while improving the form of your basic exercises. Class time is split (70/30) between the workout and instruction. Instruction focuses on refining the form of your basic exercises and learning new ones. This class will help you shed fat while building functional strength, stamina, and core stability. $170/10 classes.
Pilates Mat/Mixed Level with Janet Richards

Pre-Natal Yoga with Sarah Park

Join this prenatal yoga class for those who have done yoga and those who are new to the practice. Pregnancy changes everything – body, mind and spirit. This practice will help your body to support you throughout the process of pregnancy and delivery, building strength and endurance in your legs, core, pelivic region and hips. Breath work and relaxation are included to strengthen the mind/body connection and give you time to restore your whole being and deepen the bond already there between mother and baby. $170/10 weeks. Tai Chi with Kirk Talbott

This class is structured for both beginners and those who have previously practiced t’ai chi. Balance and cultivating a sense of calm centered around breathing and relaxing in “moving meditation” to improve health and life pathways towards enjoyment and vigor will be emphasized. Students will be guided in ‘exercising their mindfulness’ through integrated body awareness. We will use simple qigong breathing, stretching and posture-holding to prepare for the flowing, 37 posture form handed down from the late, renowned Cheng Man Ching. The practice will combine simple meditation techniques with fundamental principles and postures that provide the building blocks for improved health, self-defense and general disposition. Enjoyment and mind/body awareness are given primary emphasis throughout the class to encourage daily practice and improvement.

Meditation w/ Jared Gottlieb

Explore a number of meditation techniques that train us to cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom. Through guided meditations we’ll experientially investigate this ever-changing flow of aliveness moving through and around us—strengthening our capacity to meet with equanimity and clarity all that arises and passes in our lives. Each session will include a discussion of how to most skillfully integrate the benefits of meditation into our everyday life. The course is designed to introduce meditation practice to beginners and invigorate the practice for long-time practitioners. Chairs and blankets will be provided.
